Hi, I’m Bianca, the baker behind Mar Bakes. I make every order fresh and by hand, with generous fillings and the same care I bring to my own family’s celebrations.

Mar Bakes is a little bridge between Brazil and Perth: familiar Brazilian flavours for those who miss them, and a warm introduction to brigadeiro, pudim, empadão and pão recheado for anyone discovering them for the first time.

Personalised celebration cakes. Starting prices include an acetate finish and a simple signature top decoration; full exterior coverings are charged separately.

The price from $90 includes an acetate finish and several brigadeiros on top. Chantininho, buttercream and ganache exterior coverings cost extra. Custom cakes start at 15 cm. Standard cakes have 3 sponge layers and 2 filling layers. Tall has 4 sponge layers and 3 filling layers and is available for 15–20 cm round cakes. Heart, square, rectangular and 25 cm round cakes are Standard only. The gluten-free ingredients option is prepared in a kitchen that also handles gluten, so cross-contamination is possible and it is not suitable for coeliacs.
